On days off, the central location is perfect for those looking to explore Shetland's wide and varied wildlife and beautiful wild landscapes with easy access to local transport, tour companies and harbour for anyone tempted by the call of the sea. Lerwick's main shopping street is only a few minutes walk from the property where there are cafés, restaurants and shops. Also close by is the Clickimin Sports Centre with swimming pool and state of the art gym for those wanting to burn some calories. The Mareel which is a music, cinema and creative industries centre on Lerwick’s quayside just across from the Shetland Museum and Archives which provides a gateway from which to explore Shetland's rich heritage.
